Project Overview
Goddess and Butcher is a brand committed to bridging the gap between consumers and producers of high quality meats from family farms and ranches. Currently in its pilot phase, the company offers premium, 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef sourced directly from producers. The brand’s mission focuses on providing exceptional products from small-scale producers that have traditionally been inaccessible to most consumers.
At the core of G&B’s mission is the protection and support of small U.S. producers. The company strives to cultivate a thriving community of producers and consumers, aiming to create a transparent, diverse marketplace where all parties benefit in a mutually advantageous, WIN-WIN relationship.
The rebranding project focused on preparing the company for a successful re-launch in the U.S. market, with the goal of crafting a new visual identity that is distinctive, impactful, and enduring. This identity was designed to resonate with both local producers and consumers, ensuring its relevance and sustainability over time.

Graphic Design
Redesigning a brand plays a crucial role in aligning its visual identity with its core values and mission. A well-executed rebrand not only enhances the brand’s aesthetic appeal but also strengthens its connection with the target audience.
By analyzing G&B’s identity, marketing position, and customer expectations, we created a cohesive, modern, and engaging visual system that truly reflects its core principles.
Goals
The creation of G&B’s brand identity served several key purposes, including:
1. Market differentiation
2. Establishing a consistent brand image
3. Communicating brand values and personality
4. Increasing brand recognition and memorability
5. Building trust and credibility
6. Support growth and scalability
7. Improving marketing and visual communication
Outcome
An extensive brand system was created that beautifully showcases Goddess and Butcher’s core values while capturing consumer attention.
The process
The visual identity development process for the G&B brand followed several distinct stages, including an in-depth analysis of a comprehensive brand questionnaire-brief, defining a clear concept, and establishing a cohesive brand identity.
This was complemented by thorough research on market positioning and communication channels, the creation of a Mind Map, and the exploration of reference trajectories. The ideation phase focused on refining colors and shapes, ultimately leading to the development of the logo, patterns, and other distinctive visual elements.
Mind map
The challenge was to differentiate USSTEAM from competitors and ensuring that their eco-friendly, commercial-grade cleaning solutions were well communicated to potential buyers.

Research & Moodboad:
After selecting the theme of natural greenery—symbolizing organically grown products cultivated under authentic farm conditions—we further explored the visual representation of leaves and farmland to reinforce this concept.

Logo
When designing the logo, several key objectives guided the creative process:
- The logo needed to embody a more feminine aesthetic. To achieve this, we incorporated soft, elongated, and half-rounded shapes, extending the initials G&B vertically for a more graceful appearance.
- Another goal was to contour the initials in a way that resembled leaf shapes. In particular, the letter G was designed to subtly mimic a half-leaf form. To further reinforce this natural element, two small leaves were strategically placed above the letter B, completing the composition of the logomark.
Additionally, the logotype font was carefully selected and meticulously refined to align with the smooth, rounded forms of the logomark, ensuring a cohesive and harmonious brand identity.

Patterns
We wanted to evoke ideas of a beautiful, natural farm landscape and took inspiration from wheat fields and sunlight. Additional illustrations were developed for each product line of beef, pork, and chicken that matched this natural farm landscape feel.

Personalised icons
Icons were created based on client’s requirements so that they are unique and specifically represent different aspects of the brand.
