Project Overview
USSTEAM is a provider specializing in thedistribution of commercial-grade steam cleaning equipment. The project aimed to revamp their website to enhance user experience, improve accessibility, and streamline the product purchasing process. By focusing on user-centric design principles, the project catered to a diverse audience, including homeowners, small businesses, and large-scale commercial entities.
The redesigned website integrates features like product categorization, repair request workflows, cross-selling functionalities, and comprehensive product bundles to optimize customer engagement and boost sales. It also highlights USSTEAM’s unique selling propositions, such as eco-friendly cleaning technologies and robust customer support, ensuring their quality in the industry.

Website
We set out with two main goals: to redesign USSTEAM Website and to make it more user friendly by implementing UX principles.
Updating the website to make it more user friendly in terms of buying the products from product page. As well as implementing ux, seo principle to rank the website on Google higher.

Problem #1:
The challenge was to differentiate USSTEAM from competitors and ensuring that their eco-friendly, commercial-grade cleaning solutions were well communicated to potential buyers.

Solution:
The redesign emphasized their unique selling points through prominent content sections, improved visuals, and a clear call-to-action (CTA) hierarchy.

Problem #2:
Another considerable challenge was to Balance E-commerce and Informational Content. The website needed to function as both an e-commerce platform and a source of educational resources about steam cleaning, without overwhelming users.

Solution:
As a solution we took a minimalistic approach ensuring that users could quickly find relevant information and make purchase decisions, with easy access to tutorials and detailed product descriptions.

Problem #3:
As another challenge for us was to Enhance SEO and User Journey Mapping by improving search engine rankings and ensuring the website supported users throughout the buyer journey—from discovery to purchase and post-purchase support.

Solution:
As a solution the content was restructured for better readability and SEO, with clear pathways for discovering products, submitting repair requests, and accessing support services. All the SEO regulations were coordinated with Google principles to ensure the corectitude.

Usability Testing
We conducted several moderated usability tests to identify users’ pain points.
Based on the insights gathered from these tests, we made several changes that improved USSTEAM’s user flow, user actions, and overall usability, aligning with key UX principles.

Repair portal
One of the biggest and most important challenges for USSTEAM was to create a clear and functional Repair Portal where customers can fill out a form, make a payment, and get their vacuum or steamer repaired.
One of our goals was to design a distinctive portal where users can select the product they need to repair and complete a comprehensive form.
Another key objective was to centralize all resources in one place—the ‘Repair Portal.’ This decision was made because the information within the portal is more focused, making it easier for users to access essential resources such as user manuals, troubleshooting guides, and other helpful materials

Marketing/ Advertising
A strong website makes for the best marketing results. Having continuous involvement in US Steam’s web platform allowed our team to maximize advertising results by smoothing out the full user experience from ad impression to purchase.
SEO, Paid Search, YouTube, Meta Ads, Email, and SMS all function together with the website. This helps US Steam to gain attention, provide valuable content, capture leads, and convert shoppers to buyers and buyers to loyal customers.
Goals
- Rank in the top 5 for “commercial steam cleaner” on Google
- Increase leads and purchases from PPC while decreasing CPC
- Expand brand awareness in auto detailing, commercial kitchen, professional cleaning, and hospitality markets
- Provide quality content that educates the public and builds trust among potential buyers
- Increase customer retention and repeat purchases through email marketing
- Increase sales on Amazon at a lower cost than the prior agency
- Set up custom website conversion tracking in both GA4 and Google Ads
Outcome
Consistent top 5 organic spots on Google, 3x the website conversions from PPC, and 11.0% increase in website sales in 2024 compared to 2023.

The Challenge
The market in the United States isn’t well-versed in the benefits of steam cleaning. Additionally, US Steam is competing against much larger companies with similar products.
It was crucial to both promote the benefits of cleaning with steam while also helping US Steam stand out among the competitors by emphasizing it’s commitment to service, training, and customer relationship management.



Development
Our objective was to develop a high-performance website optimized for speed, user experience, and seamless third-party integrations. The site was designed to be easily manageable by the client while maintaining a visually appealing and mobile-responsive structure.
To achieve this, we built the website using custom Gutenberg blocks, providing a flexible layout that adapts seamlessly across devices while ensuring minimal load times.
For order management, we implemented WooCommerce and customized the templates to align with the client’s unique design requirements. This customization not only enhanced the user experience but also enabled strategic upselling opportunities by showcasing relevant add-ons and accessories
